Around 90 institutions in more than 26 countries have established a formal academic relationship with NCHU. Through the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with internationally renowned universities to facilitate both faculty and student exchange programs, the OIA provides both international and domestic students an opportunity to enrich their student life through cross-cultural interactions.

OIA also offers assistance to all NCHU colleges and departments to help recruit international degree-seeking students. The staff of OIA assist students with scholarship applications, basic consultation, and information needed for life on the campus. In addition, they organize memorable activities, such as field trips, forums, celebrations of local festivals, and local cultural programs for international students. These programs allow them to experience the rich Taiwanese culture and provide opportunities for international and domestic students to mingle.

NCHU has committed considerable resources to enhancing the campus to an international environment and to promoting the university’s reputation as a high-quality teaching and research institution. For this academic year, the number of international students exceeds 262, and NCHU hopes to enroll more international students across different disciplines in the future.
