The Office of International Affairs (OIA) was established on August 1st, 2006. The mission of the OIA is to advocate and support the University’s goal in international education. The main tasks include promoting international academic collaboration, communicating with partner institutions, building the mechanism for dual degree and exchange student programs, and recruiting international students.
The Office consists of four major divisions:
- Division of Academic Exchange: exchange student/faculty program, reception of international guests and visitors, sister-university relationships
- Division of Foreign Student Affairs: recruitment and admission of international students, student orientation and counseling, scholarship applications
- Division of Technology and Innovation: website management, servers and database management, other innovation projects
- Division of International Education: English programs and courses, international project teaching staff, dual degree programs, and international volunteer projects
