According to national regulations, Government permission to re-open allows only "Degree-Seeking" students to travel to Taiwan to complete their studies.

All students with entry permits will need to follow the Government's check-up process and quarantine policy.

Furthermore, starting from 22 July 2020, only degree-seeking students from the following 19 listed countries or regions can come to Taiwan:

Vietnam, Hong Kong, Macao, Thailand, Palau, Australia, New Zealand, Brunei Darussalam, Fiji, Mongolia, Bhutan, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar.

As student visa regulations are under the control of the Ministry of Education (MOE), the MOE coordinator officially confirms that long-term or short-term exchange students will not be able to apply for student visas or be permitted to enter Taiwan at the present time.

The Government of Taiwan will lift border restrictions steps by step: further information is available at
NCHU is closely monitoring any changes in Government policies and will keep students updated when any news or press releases are announced.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
