2022 Fall Semester

Important Notice (7/18 updated)

Due to the surges in the number of COVID-19 cases in Taiwan and other countries, the government temporarily implements that starting July 14, ARC holders, transit passengers to be exempt from providing PCR test results within two days of their flight.

*The semester dates might change, and it is possible that we might cancel the acceptances if the COVID-19 situation becomes worse before the beginning of the Fall semester 2022. We will announce the important dates, and inform you at the appropriate time.

2022 Fall Semester

1) Dormitory check-in  8:30-17:00, Aug. 26-27, 2022
If you wish to cancel, the Cancellation Deadline: Aug. 15 
 

Notice:

A. Students who complete all the application procedures for dormitory but cancel it via email before Aug. 15, 2022 shall be exempt from paying the dormitory fee.

B. Students who cancel the reservation between Aug. 15 and Aug 22, 2022 shall pay the cancellation fee of  TWD 1,000.

C. Students who cancel it between Aug 23 and  Sep 5 shall first pay the accommodation fee and they will  be refunded after deducting the daily accommodation fee (2% of the total accommodation fee times the number of days between August 22 to the date of application for cancellation).

D. Students who cancel the dormitory room  during the first day of the semester to the last working day of the 9th week get 50% refund.

E. Students who cancel the dormitory room after the last working day of 9th week shall not get any refund.

F. Students for late check-in due to uncaused factors, the dorm fee will only count from the same week while they check in.

6) Visit the Immigration Agency:Applying for R.O.C. number & A.R.C.(Alien Resident Certificate)
*only for the students who apply for an academic year

For Resident Visa holders

Apply the A.R.C. within 15 days of arrival. Your R.O.C. number will also be printed on ARC. 
(For a foreigner intended to reside for more than 180 days, one has to apply for an Alien Resident Certificate in Taiwan.
You will be penalized if failing to apply the A.R.C. within 15 days of arrival.)

 

For Visitor-Visa holders :Only need to apply for a R.O.C. number.

7) Visit the Post office to Open an Account

If you would like to apply for a scholarship/insurance reimbursement, your Post Office Account needs to be hand in before Sep. 30 (only for the students who apply for an academic year)

8) Claim your Student ID card
Pick up your student ID card at the Office of International Affairs when received an Email notice. 
Note that you must have done the following things prior to claiming your card:
 
a.    Paying fees ( ex. tuition, dormitory, insurance)
b.    Selecting Courses
c.    Hand in the copy of the R.O.C. number sheet and Post Office account bankbook
