National Chung Hsing University TOCFL Subsidy Program for International Degree Students
國立中興大學外籍學位生華語文能力測驗補助實施計畫
I. Purpose
This program aims to encourage international degree students at National Chung Hsing University (hereinafter referred to as “the University”) to take and pass the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) administered by the Steering Committee for the Test of Proficiency–Huayu (SC-TOP), and to obtain certification at Level A2 or higher to enhance their Chinese proficiency for living and working in Taiwan.
一、目的
為鼓勵本校外籍學位生報考並通過國家華語測驗推動工作委員會(以下簡稱華測會)華語文能力測驗(以下簡稱華語文能力測驗)A2級以上證照為目標，以強化其在臺生活及畢業後續留臺所需之華語能力。
II. Source of Funds
The subsidy is funded by the Ministry of Education under the Program of Career Counseling and Retention in Taiwan for International Students and/or the Higher Education SPROUT Project - Internationalization Initiative.

由教育部「大專校院國際生留臺就業輔導專業化計畫」或「高等教育深耕計畫-國際化專章」項下支應
III. Eligibility
Applicants must be international degree students who are currently enrolled at the University at the time of application.
三、申請資格
本校有正式學籍之在學外籍生，其在學資格之認定，以提出申請時為準。
IV. Application Period and Procedure
1. Applications are accepted twice a year, in May and November. Students shall submit the required documents within the timeframe announced on the Office of International Affairs (OIA) website.
2. Required documents:
(1) Application form;
(2) Proof of current enrollment;
(3) Copy of Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) and postal bankbook cover (account name and number must be clearly shown);
(4) Receipt for TOCFL test registration fee;
(5) Original and photocopy of the TOCFL score report (the original will be returned after verification).
四、申請時間及方式
每年5月及11月分2次受理申請，學生依國際處官網公告時間，檢具下列文件辦理申請
1.申請表
2.在學證明。
3.居留證及郵局存簿封面影本(帳號與戶名需顯示清楚)
4.華語文能力測驗報名費繳費證明收據
5.華語文能力檢定測驗成績單正本及影本(正本驗證後發還)
V. Subsidy Details and Quota
1. Students who achieve Level A2 or above on the TOCFL Listening and Reading test will receive a subsidy of NT$2,000, while those who achieve Level A2 or above on the TOCFL Speaking or Writing test will receive a subsidy of NT$1,400. However, students who submitted a Chinese proficiency certificate as proof of language ability for university admission are eligible for the subsidy only if they obtain a higher proficiency level than that used for admission.
2. The same test at the same level may be subsidized only once, and each student may receive the subsidy up to two times in total.
3. The total number of subsidies available each year will be determined according to the annual budget and announced accordingly. If the number of applicants exceeds the available quota, subsidies will be prioritized in the following order:
(1) Students who have participated in OIA-organized Chinese language courses;
(2) Applicants graduating in the current semester;
(3) The order in which complete applications are received.
五、補助方式及名額
1.參加華語文能力「閱讀與聽力」測驗，成績達A2(含)以上，補助新台幣2,000元整，參加華語文能力「口說」測驗或「寫作」測驗，成績達A2(含)以上，補助新台幣1400元整。但以華語相關證照為語言能力入學之學生，需取得高於其入學能力之測驗成績方得補助。
2.相同測驗、獲取相同級數，限補助一次；每名學生最多獲補助二次。
3.每年度得補助名額依每年度預算規劃並公告，超出補助名額時將以以下順序決定補助順位(1)曾參加國際處開設各級多元華語課程者 (2)申請時為應屆畢業生者(3)申請資料遞交之先後順序決定之。
