【OIA】8 spots have opened up! IVC x 1095 "Experiential Course of Life-Scape of Migrant Workers"

Wondering about the daily life of our migrant workers and want to know them better?

No worries, the opportunity has arrived! 
This time, let's step into the shoes of Arati and explore the Taichung ASEAN Square to experience local food and culture. 
Let's learn more about the foreign migrant workers!

⚡️【The information of the event】⚡️

  1. 🕐Event Date:  2023 / Dec. /16th (Sat.) 13:00~16:00
  2. 🕐Assembly Time: 2023 / Dec. /16th (Sat.) 12:45
  3. 📍Assembly Location: The pyramid in the ASEAN Square (No. 135, Luchuan Street, Central District, Taichung City)
  4. Registration Deadline: 2023 / 11 / 27 ~ 2023 / 12 / 11 (Registration will close in advance if the maximum number of participants is reached)
  5. Maximum Participants: 28 people
  6. Registration Fee: Free (A deposit of NT$200 is required, and will be refunded on the day of the event)
  7. Simple Schedule:
    • 13:00～13:20 Opening, Introduction of Game Settings
    • 13:20～13:50 Game 1 (Including Indonesian snacks, Vietnamese snacks, supermarkets, and shipping stores)
    • 13:55～14:25 Game 2 (Including Indonesian snacks, Vietnamese snacks, supermarkets, and shipping stores)
    • 14:30～15:00 Game 3 (Including Indonesian snacks, Vietnamese snacks, supermarkets, and shipping stores)
    • 15:05～15:35 Game 4 (Including Indonesian snacks, Vietnamese snacks, supermarkets, and shipping stores)
    • 15:40～16:00 Gather and Wrap-up (Including summary, Q&A, and feedback)
  8. Details for the games:
    1. Indonesian Snacks: Taste Indonesian Satay BBQ and learn Indonesian culinary culture, understanding the evolution of Indonesian culture at ASEAN Square.
    2. Vietnamese Snacks: Enjoy Vietnamese-style Fresh Spring Rolls and learn Vietnamese culinary culture, gaining insights into the evolution of Vietnamese culture at ASEAN Square.
    3. Supermarket: Overview the most commonly purchased items by migrant workers in Taiwan, offering insights into the Southeast Asian supermarket products available in Taiwan.
    4. Shipping Store: Take on the role of a migrant worker selecting gifts to send to their family, experiencing the economic and emotional connections of migrant workers in Taiwan. [Note]: The sequence of the games will be randomly assigned.

☀️【Things to note】☀️

  1. This event is part of the "My NCHU Era'" point collection activity.
  2.  A deposit of NT$200 is required, and it will be refunded on the day of the event.
    (After completing the form, please submit the deposit to the International Affairs Office on the third floor within "three days".)
  3. Lunch will not be provided on the day of the event. It is recommended to have lunch before attending
